We are recruiting UI/UX designers to create user experiences for connected cars and new mobility services.

Based on the concept of user-centered design, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and designing next-generation mobility experiences such as mobile apps, web applications, and services for wearable devices.

This position leads digital product development that delivers value to users worldwide, not just screen design, but also a broad range of involvement in service concept, experience design, information design, user research, and design system construction.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ① Development area and business overview of the affiliated organization, as well as role and position within R&D
    We are seeking a designer to join our organization responsible for connected car & services and mobility service development. Based on a user-centered design approach, this role involves creating cutting-edge interfaces and experiences.Designers in this organization will collaborate with other designers, engineers, product owners, and other team members to design service experiences and create sophisticated UIs and graphics for various web and mobile applications.

    ② Specific job responsibilities and expected roles and position within and outside the department

    ・UI/UX design for native and web applications on smartphones and smartwatches
    ・Creating interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also thoroughly user-centered
    ・Defining value propositions for new services and features, service design, and product information architecture
    ・Establishing graphic concepts and design guidelines for products
    ・Planning and executing user testing of implementations and prototypes
    ・Creating personas, customer journey maps, and other materials based on research findings and data analysis results
    ・Taking responsibility for realizing the ideal user experience within an Agile development team and driving projects globally by engaging teams and stakeholders both domestically and internationally
  • Requirements
    〈Experience〉
    ・Over 3
    years of practical experience in app UI/UX design, including for consumer products・Design experience
    at Figma and XD ・Project management experience leading task management and resource allocation for design teams, involving PO, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate

    ・ [Information Design] Design information based on experience design and requirements, considering consistency
    ・ [Mockup] Pursuing
    an appropriate and comfortable interface in accordance with UI guidelines ・ [Validation] Conducting design verification and leading to improvements
    ・ [Communication] Logically and clearly conveying
    design intent in Japanese and English ・ [Self-Proactive] Understanding issues and proactively taking actions such

  • Preferred
    〈Experience〉
    ・Experience in service development and operation
    at medium~large-scale services or large corporations ・Experience conducting
    design reviews, qualitative and quantitative research
    experience ・Experience creating and operating
    UI guidelines or design systems ・Experience in design direction using
    outsourced teams ・Experience in training juniors

    〈Skills〉
    ・Knowledge
    of software engineering (iOS, Android, Web) at a level that allows smooth conversations with engineers; autonomy to
    work independently or in teams; skills to pursue
    pixel-level precision in all outputs; knowledge of
    IoT devices and related services; knowledge of automobiles, as well as the latest AI and IT technologies.
