You will be responsible for controlling and developing drive battery systems, which are core technologies in the electrification era.

Focusing on the development of battery management systems (BMS) that determine the performance, safety, and driving range of EVs and electric powertrains, I am involved in a wide range of tasks, including energy management control, model-based development (MBD), and building control development infrastructure.

By integrating expertise in batteries, control, software, and vehicle systems to realize next-generation battery technologies and new vehicle functions, I play a crucial role in supporting the development of future electric vehicles.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities

    Development areas and business overview of the assigned organization, as well as its role and mission within R&D
    ・We are developing battery management systems to support future electrification.
    ・In addition, we carry out design implementation not only using our own technologies but also by leveraging those of our suppliers, including the development of tools and platforms to support control system development.
    ・Guided by our DNA of “doing what others don’t,” we leverage over 10 years of experience in electric vehicle development to tackle new technologies that enable innovative battery materials and vehicle functions. We are committed to development that ensures performance and safety to support the continued expansion of electric vehicles.


    Specific responsibilities and expected roles and positions
    inside and outside the department: 1) Achieving
    vehicle performance and attractive quality through battery energy management control development 2) Future core control
    development based on models using Matlab, Simulink, etc. 3) MBD Tool Chain/Process Development to Support Control Development

  • Requirements
    ■MUST-Interested

    in drive batteries and battery control - Basic knowledge
    in automotive, electrical and electronics, control engineering, or electrochemistry *Applicants from industries such as home appliances, drones, robotics, or Sier, with no prior experience in the automotive industry are also welcome
    - TOEIC: 600 points or higher
  • Preferred
    ■WANT
    - Knowledge of drive batteries
    - Experience in system or control development using MATLAB or Simulink
