You will be responsible for developing the functions of infotainment systems, which are the core of next-generation connected cars, and create new in-car experiences linked with cloud and smartphones. Collaborating with global partners such as Google, Amazon, and Apple, as well as diverse in-house development teams, you will lead everything from planning advanced services to architectural design and product development. - Responsibilities
- Specific job responsibilities include the following examples:
・Developing a 5- to 10-year technology roadmap based on global market trends, changes in the social environment, and customer requirements, and conducting advanced development and technology studies
・Compiling requests from global regions, product planning, and the testing department to define functional and service specifications
・Analyze the compiled requirements and, in collaboration with teams responsible for vehicle interior and exterior design, various electronic components, and the powertrain, define the optimal system and software architectures for implementation.
・Collaborate with third-party suppliers such as Google, Amazon, and Apple to integrate applications such as navigation and audio/entertainment into the vehicle, and explore and implement ways to add further value within the vehicle.
・As the technical leader of the project, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage product commercialization, including software implementation for infotainment systems and certification.
