Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Ensure effective application of internal program management systems and drive collaboration across program teams.
    Support smooth program transfers from Development Centre to Production Plant, ensuring alignment with customer and project goals.
    Lead product definition in coordination with design teams and customers; support industrialization and technical integration of new products.
    Provide cross-functional technical support and manage engineering changes (ECR/ECO) to maintain production quality and efficiency.
    Develop and manage annual CAPEX plans and oversee layout design for new product launches and SOP readiness.
    Lead equipment/tooling selection, installation, and validation; improve production processes and material flow.
    Promote HSE compliance, implement HOSHIN for safety/environmental improvements, and optimize plant logistics.
    Communicate transparently with management; coach and train engineering and ME teams.
    Support departmental continuity by stepping in for team members as needed; complete tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in a related field
    Business-level English (TOEIC 600+) and Japanese proficiency
    3-5 years' industrial/ product experience, including 2+ years in project management
    Knowledge of Faurecia PMS, audits, KPIs (Helios, PRC), and program launch processes processes
    Proficient in problem-solving (QRCI, 8D), DOE, D/P-FMEA, and continuous improvement (Hoshin, Kaizen)
    Understanding of JIT, assembly, product/process flows, and ISO/TS16943 product/process flows, and ISO/drawing standards
    Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)
    Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and team development skills and team development skills
    Customer-focused, results-driven, and able to navigate complexity and ambiguity
