Quality Control Engineer Leader

A logistics startup that provides outdoor automated transport services for closed environments such as factories and logistics warehouses that have achieved Level 4 automated driving. Established through joint investment by a major manufacturer of automobiles and mobility equipment and an automated driving software developer, the company will begin mass production of automated EVs in 2022, and has already begun providing services to customers in Japan at more than 40 locations.

Furthermore, the RaaS-type service, which packages installation support service, operation management system, maintenance service, and insurance, realizes an automated transportation service that can be applied to complex outdoor environments by converting a small EV based on a golf car and an automated driving system that is basically designed for public roads. The company is expanding its organizational structure with the aim of expanding and operating the service in hundreds of locations nationwide.

This position is responsible for overall quality control in the new area of automated conveyance services for enclosed spaces.

Job Description

Responsibilities

In addition to market failure response work, you will be involved in the establishment and improvement of various internal and external processes in general, starting from the definition of product and service requirements, upstream development, to market failure response.
You will work independently to improve quality and build/improve business processes, while collaborating with members inside and outside the group.
Requirements

Experience in development quality control, mass production quality control, and market quality control of mass-produced products (approx. 7+ years)
- Experience with the 7 QC tools and FMEA
- Experience in dealing with market defects (approx. 5+ years)
- Experience in quality control processes and quality assurance processes (approx. 5+ years)
- Experience leading small teams
