In this position, you will work in the electric powertrain system area as either (1) a technical planning manager, (2) a project manager, or (3) a process expert.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    1) Technical Planning Manager
    -Analyze customer needs while driving the development of electric powertrain systems that achieve customer needs (QCD), and work with internal stakeholders to execute up to technical proposals for electric powertrain systems
    You will be responsible for the following tasks.
    Duties
    -Understand customer needs from the vehicle perspective and develop them into functional requirements for electric powertrain systems
    -Determine hardware (motor and inverter) and software (control) requirements, and collaborate with and lead related departments
    -Determine achievement of customer requirements from the vehicle perspective and propose performance improvements of electric powertrain systems to customers

    (2) Project Manager
    As a leader who manages and leads development projects for electric powertrain systems (mainly motor control), you will be involved in one of the following tasks.
    -Plan and manage detailed development plans for electric powertrain system development based on customer needs
    -Organize development teams with the necessary skills, promote progress management and risk management in accordance with development plans, and lead projects smoothly

    (3) Process Expert
    As a specialist in the management and operation of mass production projects based on the development process, you will be involved in the following tasks.
    Development management and improvement in accordance with -A-Spice/ISO26262/ISO21434, etc.
    -Accommodating audits by OEMs/third-party organizations


  • Requirements
    Experience with any of the following
    - Project manager for vehicle development
    - Project manager for electric powertrain systems
    - Experience in QCD supervision of system supplies related to automobiles
    - Experience in motor/inverter related development and working with automakers or Tier1/2 manufacturers Experience
    ・Experience in electric powertrain system (mainly motor/inverter) design and motor control development
    ・Experience in project promotion of electric powertrain systems
