As a Metrology Application Engineer, you will drive the development, optimization, and sustainability of metrology solutions that support semiconductor manufacturing quality, yield enhancement, and process control objectives. You will collaborate closely with process integration, process, equipment, manufacturing, and technology development teams to create and refine metrology recipes, improve defect detection capabilities, and transfer new technologies into high-volume manufacturing environments. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring recipe health, exploring new metrology methodologies, supporting capacity and productivity improvements, and implementing quality and yield enhancement initiatives aligned with Micron's technology roadmap.
