This position is designed to acquire new clients while also retaining, building, and expanding relationships with high-profile Advertising, Banking, Finance, and Consultancy clients. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with multinational companies across Japan, selling the firms market intelligence solutions, and driving revenue growth.
As a Business Development Executive, you will need strong client-facing experience and the ability to plan and strategically grow a portfolio of accounts on both a local and international basis. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, expanding usage of our systems and content, and securing long-term partnerships.

- - Generate sales with new clients in your designated territory through proactive outreach and consultative engagement.
- Identify key sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers at target companies; understand their roles and objectives; and effectively communicate the benefits and applications of the company’s data and solutions.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships by expanding the user network, increasing product usage, positioning the company as a must-have partner, and building long-term, partnership-style relationships. Gain a strong understanding of each client’s organization, strategy, and priorities to ensure renewals and secure incremental revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
- Provide research support to clients as required, and continuously evaluate and promote effective usage within each client organization.
- Deliver user training sessions, either face-to-face or via online demonstrations.
- Manage contract renewal negotiations and identify and act on opportunities for revenue growth using consultative selling techniques, working closely with sales colleagues on each account.

- · Target orientated
- 2-3 years of experience in related industry and job
· Ability to create and build client relationships
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong presentations skills
· A creative and proactive approach to selling
· A proven track record of sales ability
- Native or Business Level Japanese
- basic to intermediate English

- Market research, consulting, account management and/or industry analyst experience is a plus
- Business English is preferable
