This position is designed to acquire new clients while also retaining, building, and expanding relationships with high-profile Advertising, Banking, Finance, and Consultancy clients. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with multinational companies across Japan, selling the firms market intelligence solutions, and driving revenue growth.
As a Business Development Executive, you will need strong client-facing experience and the ability to plan and strategically grow a portfolio of accounts on both a local and international basis. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, expanding usage of our systems and content, and securing long-term partnerships.

- Responsibilities
- - Generate sales with new clients in your designated territory through proactive outreach and consultative engagement.
- Identify key sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers at target companies, understand their roles and objectives, and effectively communicate the benefits and applications of the company’s data and solutions.
- Develop client relationships to grow network of users, increase usage, establish the company as a must-have partner, build long-term partnership-style relationships, understand company organization, strategy and priorities, ensure renewal, and secure incremental revenue (up-sell and cross-sell).
- Provide research support to clients as required, and promote effective usage within each client company.
- Train users face-to-face or via online demos.
- Manage contract renewal negotiations, and identify opportunities for revenue growth using consultative selling techniques, working closely with the sales team on each account.

- Native or Business Level Japanese
- basic to intermediate English
