The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive OTA (Over-the-Air) and device management solutions across the full project lifecycle. This role works closely with project managers, architects, and development teams to design, execute, and automate tests for complex client/server systems used by automotive and mobile OEMs.

  • 職種要約
    Design and execute test plans for automotive and mobile OTA projects across client and server environments.
    Set up and maintain test environments, including server-side and client-side configurations.
    Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
    Analyze defects, identify root causes, and create clear test and quality reports.
    Contribute to improving development, testing environments, and quality delivery workflows.
    Support technical documentation and issue tracking to enhance the technical support knowledge base.
    Collaborate directly with project managers, solution managers, developers, and peer QA engineers.
  • 応募資格（必須）
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
    5+ years of experience testing complex client/server systems.
    Hands-on experience with both manual testing and test automation.
    Experience developing automation frameworks for OTA products using Java (11+), Cucumber, Selenium, and JSystem.
    Programming or scripting experience in Java, C, Shell, Python, or Groovy.
    Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
    Ability to work independently, learn new environments quickly, and perform under pressure.
    Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency for meetings, reporting, and collaboration.
    Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

    Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and experience applying design patterns.
    Experience with Playwright, performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter), and CI/CD pipelines.
    Familiarity with GitHub workflows, CI/CD automation, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, Elasticsearch).
    Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    Interest in or experience using AI tools for testing and quality improvement.
