The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive OTA (Over-the-Air) and device management solutions across the full project lifecycle. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Design and execute test plans for automotive and mobile OTA projects across client and server environments.
    Set up and maintain test environments, including server-side and client-side configurations.
    Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
    Analyze defects, identify

    Support technical documentation and issue tracking to enhance the technical support knowledge base.

  • Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
    5+ years of experience testing complex client/server systems.
    Hands-on experience with both manual testing and test automation.
    Experience developing automation frameworks for OTA products using Java (11+), Cucumber, Selenium, and JSystem.
    Programming or scripting experience in Java, C, Shell, Python, or Groovy.
    Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
    Ability to work independently, learn new environments quickly, and perform under pressure.
    Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency for meetings, reporting

  • Preferred
    Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and experience applying design patterns.

    Familiarity with GitHub workflows, CI/CD automation, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, Elasticsearch).
