Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Network
    - Build and maintain our network infrastructure.
    - Configure, verify and maintain equipment and services such as switches, routers, firewalls (FWs) and VPNs.
    - Design and maintain network security.
    - Create and maintain network topology diagrams.
    - Prepare technical specifications and requirements for the purchase and replacement of network equipment.
    - Monitor network operations.

    Servers
    - Build and maintain our server infrastructure (Linux/Windows).
    - Maintain virtual servers (VMware).
    - Design and maintain server security.
    - Create and maintain server configuration diagrams.
    - Create technical specifications and requirements for server purchases and replacements.
    - Build servers and perform patch management.
    - Monitor server operations.

    Common tasks
    - Analyze security logs.
    - Provide infrastructure service desk support.
    - Perform configuration and IT asset management.
    - Prepare materials for regular meetings with headquarters.

    Network

  • Requirements
    - 3+ years of IT experience as a Server Engineer or Network Engineer
    - Working experience in designing, building, or maintaining server virtualization (e.g. VMware)
    - Backup and Restore Practical experience
    - Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions to resolve identified issues
    - Experience configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting servers is a must
    - Experience configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting networks Shooting experience is a must
    - Hands-on experience with server virtualization and network redesign
    - Leadership experience in a global work environment
    - Critical thinking skills to deal with fact-based situations
    - Flexible mindset for new technologies and new challenges

    - 3 years of prior IT experience in server engineer or network engineer
    - Proven technical experience in designing, building, and/or maintaining server virtualization (e.g. VMware). Proven technical experience in designing, building, and/or maintaining server virtualization (e.g. VMware).
    - Proven technical experience in backup and restoration
    - Strong ability to diagnose problems and deliver solutions to resolve identified problems

    - Leadership experience in a global working environment
