Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Act as a knowledge hub and leverage experience across OEMs and projects for core software reuse
    Collaborate with global teams to analyze and debug software issues with customers or Tier-2 suppliers; implement and verify fixes through patching or on -the-spot debugging
    Summarize identified issues and propose solutions to both internal global teams and external stakeholders
    Support the creation of software requirement proposals
    Regularly track progress of activities such as workshops and joint testing
    Align and adjust activity planning with overall project schedules and milestones, reporting any deviations
    Assist in setting up development environments in Japan, including customer engineering sites
    Understand both internal and external requirements to clearly define product expectations
  • Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
    3+ years of hands-on software development experience with C/C++
    3+ years of experience leading global development teams
    Solid background in embedded application development
    Strong understanding of inter-process communication, multithreading, and socket programming
    Proficient in Japanese; business-level English
    Familiarity with embedded operating systems
  • Preferred
    Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol internals
    Experience in the automotive industry
    Proficiency in Unified Modeling Language (UML)
    Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe)
    Understanding of process models such as Automotive SPICE
    Awareness of secure coding practices
    Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
