Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Join one of the most respectable automotive manufacturers as a Marketing Creative Project Leader.
    This position is responsible for the planning, proposing, and development of advertising content that aligns with the brand's marketing communication strategies and campaign goals, within classical and digital push media channels.
    All produced creative content should represent the brand well, and contribute to strengthening brand image and awareness in Japan.

    [Job Tasks]
    -Develop communication content for classical and digital push media channels, based on the overall campaign objectives and media plans. Support the Senior Manager and Brand Manager in developing overall campaign concepts, and drive the creation of the campaign tagline, body copy, and key visuals; then rollout a wide range of content across various touchpoints. Output is to be developed through close communication with, and the steering of agencies.
    -Adapt CI guidelines and brand strategy files provided by the brand company and translate to Japanese.
    -Check drafts of campaign and marketing contents and tools to ensure consistency of the brand, and to make sure that output conforms to CI requirements. Also advise other departments on CI compliance.
    -Supervise all photo/video shoots on-site; supervise TVC and other video edits/ MA sessions in studio; check all copywriting, color proofs and creative work.
    -Steer lead creative agency in daily operational matters to achieve campaign goals and briefed work. Manage the quality, production costs, and timely delivery of assets.
    -Manage the creative production budget accurately, to ensure full spending with optimal ROI.
    -Prepare advertising materials for dealer usage. Maintain usage rights for dealer ad materials.
    -Manage the compiling of marketing communication explanations to dealers (Communication shokans) via e-Relations.
    -Handle division administration, including Marketing company car usage, Brand calendars, and maintaining usage rights for advertising material.
    -File and store all produced ad materials (hard and soft copies).
    -Manage the execution of quarterly Brand Tracking Surveys.
    ・Support the Brand Manager in creating agency briefs.
    ・Assist with the checking of all media tie-up output.
    ・Check all social posts developed by the Social Media staff to ensure that they are made in-line with the ATL campaign tonality and are worded well.

    -Creative excellence for all work; especially measured on key launch campaigns by referring to Brand Tracking Survey scores
    -Creating effective communication that helps to drive traffic to website for key individual campaigns:

    ・Number of car configurations on ACCx
    -Creative innovation- developing new impactful forms of communication-Creating
    effective ads that help to garner new leads:
    ・Number of leads forwarded to dealers
    ・Sales conversion % of forwarded leads-Accurately
    managing production budget
  • Requirements
    -University bachelor's degree
    -At least 3 yrs of Marketing experience in ATL communication planning and creative production of classical & digital advertising, preferably within the automotive industry.
    -Excellent writing skills and proofreading skills in Japanese.
    -Intermediate or above English skill in reading, writing, and conversation.
    -High level of attention to detail.
    -Ability to develop marketing strategy & executional plans
    -High level of creativity and artistic sense
    -Negotiation skills towards the brand company, agencies, and other internal & external stakeholders
    -Agency steering

    -Accurate budget management skills
    -Communication skills both oral & written in Japanese and English
