After Services Engineer

A logistics startup that provides outdoor automated transport services for closed environments such as factories and logistics warehouses that have achieved Level 4 automated driving. Established through joint investment by a major manufacturer of automobiles and mobility equipment and an automated driving software developer, the company will begin mass production of automated EVs in 2022, and has already begun providing services to customers in Japan at more than 40 locations.

Furthermore, the RaaS-type service, which packages installation support service, operation management system, maintenance service, and insurance, realizes an automated transportation service that can be applied to complex outdoor environments by converting a small EV based on a golf car and an automated driving system that is basically designed for public roads. This is a company with great momentum that is expanding its organizational structure to expand and operate the service in hundreds of locations nationwide in the future.

You will be in charge of after-sales support operations for automated conveyor services.
In addition to reactive support such as repairs and maintenance, you will be part of a team that aims to provide a better customer experience by quickly resolving customer issues in order to improve customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Customer installation work for automatic transfer service
    - Handling various inquiries from customers
    - After-sales support work such as periodical maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
    - Various measures to improve customer satisfaction (issue hearings, periodical follow-ups, etc.), collection and analysis of customer feedback
    - Problem solving for existing customers Proposals (proposals that lead to operational improvement/issue resolution)
    ・Preparation of various manuals and other materials
  • Requirements
    Experience in the service sector of BtoB business (approx. 3+ years)
  • Preferred
    Experience in sales and other work involving communication with people
    - Experience in explaining operations to customers and handling QA during operation explanation
    - Engineering experience including operational tools, review, documentation, testing, quality control, etc.
    - Experience in troubleshooting and recovery from complex computer controls
    - Experience in GUI-based Experience working with PCs, tablets, etc. using GUI
    - Knowledge and work experience in the field of automated driving
