We are developing sustainable mobility services that reduce environmental impact and include solutions to urban transportation issues as well as rural transportation issues.

You will work on a wide range of critical issues including demand forecasting, pricing, route optimization, and anomaly detection.
You will design and implement new functions and services from scratch, as well as improve existing functions, by utilizing diverse technologies such as machine learning, mathematical modeling, and video and image analysis.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Structuring business issues and designing and implementing quantitative approaches to solving them
    ・Identifying issues, building hypotheses, and proposing improvement measures through exploratory analysis, visualization, and statistical testing of various data
    ・Designing, implementing, and running models/algorithms for demand forecasting, pricing, route optimization, anomaly detection, etc. ・Developing mid- to long-term data utilization strategies and planning new technologies and methods ・Planning mid- to long-term data utilization strategies and planning R&D for new technologies and methods Promote a series of processes from design, implementation, and production to operation of models/algorithms for demand forecasting, pricing, route optimization, and anomaly detection
    ・Decision-making support and policy planning based on models and analysis results
    ・Plan medium- to long-term data utilization strategies and plan and promote R&D of new technologies and methods

    [Examples of business issues to be solved]
    ・Build demand forecast models in each region and time zone
    ・Real-time pricing and vehicle allocation optimization based on demand forecasting
    Optimization of overall operations including battery replacement, vehicle recovery, and vehicle maintenance
    ・Design and decision support for area clustering and port strategies
    ・Design and implementation of automatic detection functions for port return status and driving safety using image and video data
    ・Design and implementation of anomaly detection algorithms using usage logs and vehicle Design and implementation of anomaly detection algorithms using usage logs and vehicle sensor data
    Design of segmentation and personalization methods based on user behavior and attributes
    Development and improvement of route navigation functions for users and operations
    Establishment of a monitoring mechanism through causal modeling among KPIs
  • Requirements
    -Experience in working on projects such as machine learning and statistical modeling (approx. 5+ years)
    -Experience in developing and operating applications and systems
    -Ability to extract and process data using SQL, Python, etc.
    -Systematic knowledge of statistics, machine learning and computer science
    -Ability to understand business issues and select and implement appropriate methods Ability to understand business issues and select and implement appropriate methods
  • Preferred
    Experience in designing and implementing predictive models and optimization algorithms
    - Experience in projects utilizing image and video data
    - Experience in projects utilizing location data

    - Experience in using Airflow, dbt and other Experience using orchestration and ETL tools
