Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    For back-end operations, in addition to vehicle recovery and deployment, battery replacement, and repair, there are various functions such as safety measures, port installation, campaign setup, and customer service, and there are multiple clients, including mobile and web applications.
    The engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing the backend of the above applications based on an understanding of the domain while collaborating with the product manager on issues and requests from the various parties involved, as well as conducting interviews at the site where the on-site team is working.
    The backend is developed mainly in TypeScript, using CloudFunctions for infrastructure and Firestore for database. Refactoring will be performed to eliminate technical debt and bottlenecks in the overall system in collaboration with the client application and IoT teams. In the mid- to long-term, the team may also adjust the rearchitecture, etc., without assuming the existing configuration.
  • Requirements
    -Experience as a backend engineer (2+ years)
    -Experience developing with TypeScript (2+ years)
    -Experience developing in a multi-person team including code reviews
    -Experience promoting and implementing voluntary refactoring outside of feature development
  • Preferred
    Experience in developing functionality for staff products such as transportation and logistics
    - Experience developing products using Firebase products
    - Certification and experience using Google Cloud Platform
    - Experience with NoSQL databases and Serverless architecture
    - Experience in operating NoSQL databases and Serverless architecture - Experience in developing APIs for client applications - Understanding of communication methods and protocols related to IoT devices such as TCP, BLE and MQTT Experience developing APIs for client applications
