Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Development and operation of EV charging system
    * A development team of less than 10 people, a mixture of employees and external partners, speedily adds and operates system functions, including weekly releases, and conducts various surveys and implementations to solve business issues.
    EV Vehicle Charging System
    * A service system to search for quick chargers installed in the city via web or smartphone for smooth charging. Reservations can also be made.
    ・EV Taxi Charging Planning System
    * Ambitious system that collects and controls real-time information from chargers, smart meters, and EV vehicles as IoT, and uses AI to plan optimal allocation of cab operating efficiency, charger usage efficiency, and electricity costs.
    ・Research, PoC system development, implementation, and commercialization for GX business expansion Implementation and commercialization of PoC
    * Participated as a technical staff member in the top-level study of new areas for business expansion. Working together with the business department, we will concretize what needs to be done, and design, implement, and operate the architecture on our own.

    Technologies and tools used
    ・Infrastructure: AWS EKS+ internal k8s infrastructure (docker), RDS (PostgreSQL), BigQuery *The SRE team is in charge of infrastructure
    ・Server: Java21/Spring Boot 3/JPA, Go/echo/sqlx, Python/ FastAPI (auxiliary tool) REST+JSON
    ・Front: React/React MUI+TypeScript
    ・Others: GitHub/GitHub Copilot, VS Code, Sentry, Grafana, Confluence, Redash
  • Requirements
    More than one year of web-based engineering experience and more than three years of server-side development experience
    Experience in all of the following processes for in-house developed products (those servicing external customers), not contracted
    Requirements hearing, systemization scope determination, architectural design, application specification determination, application design, implementation, testing, operation design, operation, failure handling, and inquiry response
    Available development languages: Go, Java (Spring Boot), and React, all more than 1 year
    or able to catch up in a few months
    Experience developing and operating Linux-based web applications on AWS or GCP Experience in team development
    Experience in Git required; experience with pull request based peer review and flexible assignment of tasks while being aware of other team members' tasks
    Interest in integrating Generated AI into your own or your team's development work and significantly improving development efficiency.
  • Preferred
    Experience in power management systems, EV chargers, smart meters, vehicle data collection systems, various facility monitoring systems, or services with IoT elements
    Experience in Android/Flutter application development, Go language experience, Python language experience
