Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    -Oversee the development and timeline of assigned projects meeting KPIs to determine the projects profitability and preparation for production phase.
    -Track resources and items necessary to advance the project, communicate across teams in the production cycle to drive on-time delivery.
    -Take action in resolving product issues and escalating issues as necessary.
    -Carefully track and manage the budget through the project life cycle.
    -Develop concept competitions for customer orders and define project scope.
    -Prepare Concept Approval Applications and Initial Assessment Reports for submission.
    -Prepare and present reports to appropriate project and development committees.
    -Manage external and internal stakeholders with a strong ability to communicate with and satisfy client and customer relationships.
    -If in a senior role; coach and develop more junior project managers.

  • Requirements
    -Business level Japanese and English
    -Strong experience and professional knowledge of the automotive industry and development processes.
    - Experience with technology systems such as telematics. Experience with technology systems such as telematics.
  • Preferred
    -Experience with Tier 1 manufacturers.
    -Understanding of RFI/RFQ processes.
    -Project management certifications such as PMP.
