Under the supervision of the Propulsion System Development Manager, you will be responsible for the research and development of hybrid thrusters to be installed on satellites and high thrust propulsion systems for future orbit transfer.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    In collaboration with thruster design personnel, you will lead the following tasks:
    - Planning, writing procedures, and leading test execution for propulsion systems
    - Examining evaluation test methods for thruster systems
    - Coordinating with internal and external parties related to testing (I/F coordination)
    - Preparing for and handling tests on the day of testing
    *Depending on the project status, Depending on the project situation, you may be asked to be involved in satellite system testing other than thrusters.
  • Requirements
    Experience in the testing of propulsion systems or mechanical/thermal subsystems, from test planning to execution and analysis reporting, including integrated evaluation testing, with more than 10 people involved.
    ・Interface coordination with internal and external parties (design, facilities, safety, quality control, test facilities, contractors, etc.) to promote the work as a test leader or key member.   • Preferred
    Experience in test feasibility studies and test process management
    - Experience in measurement planning and measurement and installation of temperature, pressure, acceleration, strain, etc.

    - Experience in conducting thruster combustion tests, vacuum performance evaluation, durability and safety tests
    - Experience in handling pressurized components ( pressure vessels, valves, piping, regulators, etc.)
    ・Qualifications such as high pressure gas production safety officer, explosives handling safety officer, etc.
    ・Experience in start-up development
