Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Drive a culture of Health & Safety by enforcing strict EHS standards and encouraging safe work practices in line with group policies and local regulations. regulations.

    - Plan and execute production schedules to meet shift goals, ensuring product quality and output targets are consistently achieved.

    - Ensure compliance with ISO management system requirements across production activities.

    - Collaborate with R&D for industrial testing and process validation.

    - Review and approve work permits and oversee industrial waste disposal operations.

    - Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain quality specifications and minimize rejects.

    - Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence methodologies to optimize staffing and reduce conversion costs.

    - Conduct monthly inventory audits, analyze operational data (OEE, maintenance KPIs, utility consumption), and prepare regular reports.

    - Manage the site maintenance team, including annual maintenance planning and coordination.

    - Supervise and motivate production staff, set individual goals, manage shift schedules, and ensure adherence to company policies.

    - Facilitate effective communication and coordination with internal departments and participate in business unit teams for best practice sharing.
  • Requirements
    - Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.

    - 5+ years of production management experience in an industrial environment.

    - Experience managing 24/7 shift operations.

    - Proficient with ERP systems (experience with SAP is advantageous).

    - Solid understanding of chemical processing and engineering principles preferred.

    - Fluent in Japanese and English (both spoken and written).
