Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Serve as the main point of contact for purchasing and engineering teams at the customer.
    - Promote the company's products and capabilities to OEM customers, while representing customer needs internally.
    - Lead account growth through new project acquisition, lifecycle management of awarded business, and introduction of new technologies aligned with company strategy.
    - Drive profitability improvements and secure customer funding for development activities and change requests.
    - Manage price consistency and negotiations across all product lines.
    - Lead the RFI/RFQ process, including financial calculations, internal approvals, and customer negotiations.
    - Coordinate with internal functions (engineering, finance, logistics, manufacturing) to ensure seamless customer support.
    - Prepare and submit quotations for engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.
    - Support project teams with sales-related activities.
    - Oversee prototype orders, pricing, and delivery negotiations.
    - Conduct sales administration tasks (annual price reductions, volume/take rate updates, engineering payments, etc.).
    - Track customer intelligence on competition, market trends, KPIs, and satisfaction levels.
    - Prepare monthly reports on sales performance and account activities.
    - Develop and execute customer strategy with ownership and passion.
  • Requirements
    - 5+ years of experience in the automotive Tier 1 supplier industry.
    - At least 3 years of direct sales/account management experience with major OEM customers.
    - Proven ability to manage complex negotiations with Japanese OEMs.
    - Strong customer relationship management skills.
    - Solid understanding of automotive business processes, from quotation through project lifecycle support.
