You will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain from suppliers to the delivery of parts to the manufacturing plant so that we can procure external parts stably and on time in a wide range of areas from development (start-up of new models), mass production, and discontinuation of mass production.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Reduction of delivery errors (delivery defects, delivery delays, etc.) of external parts and enhancement of suppliers' supply structure
    ・Predictive detection of production problems caused by suppliers' facilities, personnel, earnings, etc. and establishment of preventive measures
    ・Evaluation of parts supply stability when launching new models (checking delivery capacity and production capacity, and establishment of supply conditions)
    ・Extraction of supply risks from quality, cost, and procurement perspectives, and establishment of systems and processes from a short-term/mid-term perspective ・Promotion of cooperation with related internal divisions such as development, strategy, manufacturing, and supply chain logistics, etc. Extraction of supply risks from the perspectives of quality, cost, and procurement, and establishment of systems and processes from short-, medium-, and long-term perspectives

  • Requirements

    Experience in start-up, stable supply, and procurement/quality support of automotive parts
    - Experience in planning and promoting quality, cost, and procurement improvement activities in the manufacturing industry
    - Knowledge of electronic and electrical components and lightweight materials
    - Comfortable working in English
