This position is for a Marketing and Sales Director to perform the following duties, with the expectation of becoming a part of the management team as CCO based on results and performance.

The space industry is new and extremely dynamic, offering a wide range of challenges and opportunities. In his role will lead and develop teams across the organization related to business, marketing, branding, sales, and more as they navigate these challenges and make the most of opportunities. Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Create and promote marketing/sales strategies that achieve the business plan
    ・Develop and implement branding strategies that will be a competitive advantage in the mid- to long-term
    ・Provide resource (human, financial, and operational) management related to sales

    In this role you will:
    -Oversee the marketing and sales team, creating and implementing strategies for generating revenue in both the mid and long range term.
    -Speak with key stakeholders across the organization and industry, including at international and domestic conferences.
    -Adjust sales and marketing strategy for the organization as the industry develops and shifts, prioritizing the capabilities and needs of the team.
    -Develop and oversee a range of departments related to these operations as well as the people management involved with creating a leading team.
    -Discuss and report progress at the executive level of the team with a collaborative and goal oriented mindset.
  • Requirements
    -Experience in domestic + international market development, a high level of English proficiency, and the practical ability to conduct business meetings and negotiations, including technical content.
    -The candidate must have the necessary background to understand the technical content of space and our products (a certain knowledge of physics).
    -The ability to develop and implement business plans and sales strategies that meet management requirements.
    Experience managing a sales force of at least 5 people to achieve goals
    ・Coordinate with the technical side of the company on customer contracts to achieve appropriate content agreements both externally and internally
    ・Explain and summarize technical concepts in correct written and oral presentations

    ・A sound understanding of the qualities required of a space start-up company and a willingness to be flexible and practical.

    ・Expert level knowledge of market research processes and procedures.
