This position leads the design and implementation of advanced driver assistance systems, consistently handling everything from specification coordination with customers to improving development processes.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Lead the design and implementation of advanced driver assistance systems (speed control, emergency braking, lane assist, automatic control of lights, etc.) using in-vehicle sensors such as radar and cameras
    Lead the overall system design by closely coordinating specifications with the customer and analyzing requirements
    Propose improvements to the development process to improve software quality and implementation
    Contribute to the development of advanced areas through deep involvement in a series of processes from requirement definition to design, implementation, and testing
  • Requirements
    Japanese language proficiency at the level of JLPT N1 or above.
    Experience in systems and software development in the automotive industry or embedded software development.
    Results-oriented, self-directed and able to work autonomously.
    Must have a positive mindset and a willingness to tackle tasks and lead teams and projects.
    At least 1 year of experience in system/software design
  • Preferred
    At least 2 years of experience in development using C/C++ language.
    Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
    Experience with the Doors requirements management tool.
    Experience with CANape/CANalyzer, a vehicle communication analysis tool.
    Experience in development using Python.
    Experience in project management and version control using GitHub.
