This position is to manage a team responsible for the main mechanism areas of a spacecraft (capture mechanism, solar array, and drive system) and lead the development from the viewpoint of technology, human resources, and budget. You will build an engineering structure that satisfies QCD through resource allocation, recruitment and training, and technology roadmap formulation for multiple projects. This role is responsible for strengthening Astroscale's core technologies and development capabilities in conjunction with business plans and development strategies, and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Management of all deliverables (3D models, 2D drawings, manufacturing procedures, CAE models, test setup/procedures, test results, orbital order, operations, and to stakeholders including customers) produced by the mechanism team responsible for the capture mechanism, solar array, and drive system. reports). - Knowledge and experience with mechanical subsystems such as capture mechanisms, deployment mechanisms, solar arrays, drive systems, etc.
