You will be mainly in charge of the design of propulsion systems (engines, turbopumps, propulsion systems, etc.).
In cooperation with other personnel in charge of individual component design, you will lead the definition of requirements, architecture design, outfitting design, test planning and analysis of the entire system.
In addition, using the combustion test equipment developed in-house, you will lead the system verification and coordinate the interface with other system personnel to realize the optimal propulsion system design for the entire rocket.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ・Definition of requirements and architecture study
    of propulsion system ・System design of the entire propulsion system (supply system including turbo pump, fluid network, outfitting pipes)
    ・Propulsion system sizing analysis, fluid and thermal simulation, performance optimization
    ・Planning, technical support, and data analysis
    of combustion tests and turbopump thermal running tests using in-house equipment ・System improvement and optimization
    based on test results, interface adjustment
    with other system personnel such as structure, electrical, and inductive control, root cause analysis in the event of a problem, planning and implementation
    of corrective measures, and technical examination of the next unit and later and DECA
  • Requirements
    ・Master's degree or higher in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, etc., or equivalent practical experience
    ・Experience in designing
    liquid rocket propulsion systems ・Experience in designing and analyzing
    high-pressure fluid systems and cryogenic flow systems・Japanese proficiency (business level)
  • Preferred
    ・Experience
    in system integration of liquid rocket engines and turbopumps, experience
    in explaining to internal and external stakeholders, such as review meetings, experience in planning and analyzing

    test plans for combustion tests and thermal running tests ■Desired personality
