The company is looking for a marketing-driven leader to lead the development of new Asian markets, with a focus on Japanese manufacturing companies, throughout Southeast Asia, with Thailand (Bangkok) as the hub. You will not be expected to develop existing successful patterns horizontally, but to understand the market from scratch and create GTM through a trial-and-error process.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    You will be responsible for creating a market that "drives forward the decision-making process of unrecognized potential clients" through the flexible use of trade shows, events, content, communities, and other means.

    ■ Marketing strategy and hypothesis design for Asian markets
    ・Clarify target companies, industries, and issues in Asian markets (mainly Southeast Asia)
    ・Build Asia-specific GTM and marketing strategies based on Japanese MK
    ■ Design measures for creating new contacts and market awareness
    ・Create new contacts through exhibitions, external events, joint planning, etc. Creation of new contacts through exhibitions, external events, joint planning, etc.
    ・Planning and operation of closed small-group events and roundtables
    ・Promotion of market development measures in collaboration with external partners such as JETRO
    ■Content and community trust building
    ・Content planning (articles, webinars, materials, etc.) starting with issues facing Japanese manufacturers entering Asia
    Continuous information dissemination and relationship building to avoid one-off events
    ・Design of measures for future community building
    ■Contribution to GTM collaboration and deal creation
    ・Lead generation and deal creation support in collaboration with the sales team
    ・Relationship building and information collaboration for the first meeting and beyond

  • Requirements
    Experience in BtoB marketing or corporate sales
    Experience in developing new customers or launching new markets or products
    Experience in planning and promoting business development, GTM and marketing strategies
    Language skills: Japanese (native level), English (business level - able to communicate practically with Asian offices) Able to communicate with Asian offices)
  • Preferred
    Experience in Asian or overseas markets
    - Experience in BtoB business for Japanese companies
    - Knowledge of manufacturing/SaaS/BtoB products
    - Experience in planning and managing events, exhibitions and community initiatives
    - Language skills other than Japanese and English, such as Thai and Chinese
