This is a manager position that oversees the planning, business design, and operation of health insurance systems and benefits operations in Japan.
We will be responsible for everything from system planning to business design, launch, and stable operation, and build a sustainable operation system in cooperation with related departments and outsourcing companies.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Organizing the current status of the health insurance system and benefit operations and analyzing
    issuesQualification management, business process design
    such as benefits, screening, settlement, and inquiry response, Preparation of regulations, operating rules, and judgment criteria (including exception handling)
    Formulation and execution management
    of start-up and transition plansSelection support and operation management of outsourcing contractors/BPOs,
    SLA and KPI design, and operational quality control, Promotion
    of improvement cyclesControl over the handling of data including personal information and My NumbersCoordination
    with the government and external organizations (as necessary)
  • Requirements
    Experience in health
    insurance, benefits, qualification management, screening, billing, etc. Experience in leading business design or operational launch in the above areas as
    a manager Experience in operation management including teams or subcontractors,
    experience in being responsible for operational quality such as SLAs/KPIs,
    and a high sense of governance awareness for operations that handle personal information and sensitive information.
  • Preferred
    Experience in practical work and management at
    health insurance societies, associations, mutual aid, etc., experience in BPO design and improvement
    of benefits and qualification services, experience in revising regulations, responding to audits, and negotiating
    with administrationBasic numerical management experience in insurance premiums and benefits, etc.
