Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Act as the main technical interface for Japanese customers and translate requirements to global engineering teams
    Support project execution by aligning on quality, cost, and timeline targets with project managers and cross-functional teams
    Review and validate design solutions, including CAD models, simulations, and validation activities
    Contribute to technical problem solving and ensure design quality through risk assessment and engineering standards
    Provide technical leadership locally and support collaboration between Japan and global teams
  • Requirements
    Strong experience in mechanical design using CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
    Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and simulation/analysis tools
    Experience in the automotive industry and involvement in development projects
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
    Fluent Japanese and English language
