In Japan, the company maintains R&D facilities dedicated to advanced sensing technologies and intelligent driving systems, supporting global development programs in the field of ADAS and automated driving.

In this role you will be responsible for material planning, logistics coordination, and inventory management within the supply chain function.

You will ensure stable production by managing supplier communication, material availability, and inventory levels, while also supporting logistics operations and resolving supply-related issues. The role requires close collaboration with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Material Planning & Procurement Coordination
    ・Identify and manage suppliers for material procurement.
    ・Determine required material quantities based on production plans and sales forecasts.
    ・Communicate weekly forecasts to suppliers via SAP and ensure alignment.
    ・Develop contingency plans for potential material shortages.

    Logistics & Delivery Management
    ・Monitor daily shipment and delivery status of materials.
    ・Coordinate with logistics providers to track deliveries and resolve delays.
    ・Optimize delivery methods in collaboration with suppliers.
    ・Ensure clear and accurate communication with suppliers.

    Inventory Management
    ・Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and components.
    ・Monitor stock levels daily and take action to reduce excess inventory.
    ・Evaluate supplier delivery performance and suggest improvements.
    ・Support physical inventory processes to ensure data accuracy.

    Issue Resolution
    ・Identify material shortages and supply issues proactively.
    ・Escalate critical issues to management and coordinate solutions.
    ・Participate in supply chain and logistics meetings and implement decisions.
  • Requirements
    ・1+ years of experience in supply chain (preferably 3+ years)
    ・Japanese: Conversational level or above (if English is strong)
    ・English: Business level (reading, writing, speaking) (if Japanese is native)
  • Preferred
    ・Chinese language skills
    ・Strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
    ・Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    ・Proactive problem-solving mindset in supply chain operations.
    ・Interest in global logistics and procurement processes.
