Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ・Formulation and execution of global purchasing strategies: Formulation of global purchasing strategies based on business strategies and markets and supply environments, and support
    for strategic development and execution in collaboration with regional purchasing organizations ・Global management of key devices and long-delivery parts: Global centralized management and operation of semiconductors and key devices with high purchasing difficulties, coordination to secure priority supply quotas, and balance inventory optimization and supply stability.
    ・Global supply risk and BCP response: Identify supply risks based on geopolitical risks, disasters, market fluctuations, etc., and implement global optimal allocation in cooperation with relevant departments in global negotiations and collaborations with relevant departments
    in the event of a BCP project ・Transformation of purchasing functions and promotion of migration projects: Formulation and execution of purchasing transition plans to new strategic partners and promotion
    of transition projects including purchasing, logistics, commercial distribution, and systems ・Establishment and sophistication of global purchasing processes and mechanisms: Horizontal deployment of purchasing solutions, including VMIs and purchasing systems, and high-level leveling incorporating best practices from each region
  • Requirements
    ・At least 1 year of practical experience
    in purchasing electronic components or mechanical parts ・Negotiation and communication skills in English or Chinese
  • Preferred
    ・Experience
    in global purchasing and multi-regional purchasing ・Experience in collaborating with overseas bases and global suppliers to promote
    operations while understanding different business practices and decision-making processes ・Experience involved in transformation projects such as business transfer, restructuring of purchasing functions, process design, and migration of purchasing systems/EDIs.
