A leading global European supplier of equipment and services for mining and rock solutions is seeking an enthusiastic Service Manager. You will lead the Technical Support, Service Center, and Area Service teams supporting large-scale construction and mining equipment, including drilling machines, concrete spraying machines , and transport vehicles. You will oversee machine installation, after-sales service, technical support, warranty claim reviews, and service partner management while working closely with construction, quarrying, mining, and tunneling customers across Japan. The role also involves domestic and international travel to provide technical support and resolve customer issues on-site.

- Responsibilities

- Company-manufactured large construction machinery including mining/tunnel boring machines, concrete spraying machines, transport vehicles, and associated consumable parts.
- Currently, our drilling machines, sprayers, and transport vehicles are widely deployed in Linear (Maglev) Shinkansen and expressway construction projects.
[Customers]
- Construction companies, quarry operators, and mining/tunnel excavation contractors throughout Japan.
[Responsibilities]
- Manage Technical Support, Service Center, and Area Service teams responsible for post-order machine installation, after-maintenance, and technical support. Oversee and develop outsourced service contractors.
- Review warranty claims, determine eligibility for reimbursement, handle related processing, and negotiate directly at customer sites.
- Domestic and international business travel required.

- Requirements
- - Business-level English (TOEIC 800+ equivalent)
- 3+ years of service or sales experience in mining, construction machinery, civil engineering, or mechanical equipment
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Ability to communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders
- Alignment with the following Mission:
- Rebuild the service division for greater efficiency and higher customer satisfaction under a new organizational structure
- Drive ambitious mid-to-long-term goals together with all stakeholders, including internal teams and service dealers
