Your mission is to develop a platform using Android Automotive OS, optimizing Google's latest code for your own vehicles, integrating proprietary software, and delivering market value through OTA (Over The Air), building the ever-changing automotive software foundation and the development organization that supports it from scratch.
We are an organization that continuously adds features to market vehicles and delivers value to market vehicles through OTAs, serving as a hub for "DevOps/CI/CD."
Job Description

- Responsibilities
- ■ Specific job responsibilities
[platform development]
, development of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) / AAOS (Android Automotive OS) framework layers, HAL layers, and OSS contribution for bugs.
・Development of proprietary middleware and performance tuning.
[DevOps Promotion]
・Building and maintaining AOSP/AAOS-based build systems, test (xTS) environments, and CI/CD operations.
・Innovation in development using AI.

■ Work Environment, Work Style
, and Startup-like Environment: While having a stable foundation as a major automaker, the Osaka office is a 'startup from scratch,' giving you the speed and discretion of a venture company.
・Location: Newly established Osaka office (planned within Osaka city).
・Work style: Hybrid work combining remote work and in-office work is recommended. We coordinate continuously online with the R&D headquarters in Kanagawa, but autonomous operations are required.
・Team Composition: As this is a newly established organization, you will be one of the first few members. We aim to expand to several dozen members in the future.
*Depending on the phase of work, a business trip to Kanagawa Prefecture (R&D Center) may be required.

- Requirements
- *Experience in the automotive industry is not required. If you have experience in Android, Linux, embedded software, DevOps, etc., you can make use of this field to thrive.
・Development experience
in Linux environments ・Software development experience using C/C++, RUST, Java, or Kotlin.
・Experience in version control and team development using Git.

- Preferred
- ・Development experience using the Android platform (AOSP) (knowledge of the Framework layer, HAL layer, or Native layer).
・Development experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
・Experience building and operating CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
・Experience in developing and operating OTA (Over-The-Air) systems.
・Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
・TOEIC score of 600 or higher
(Regarding English, it is sufficient if you can handle reading and writing to the best of your ability for now.)
・Someone who enjoys change: Someone who, rather than being passive in the face of constantly evolving technologies and requirements, proactively keeps up with them and enjoys adapting.
・Someone who can work independently: Since this is a startup phase, there is no set path. We are looking for someone who can identify issues on their own and take the initiative to solve them.
・Team Player and Open-Minded: Someone who can communicate smoothly with team members at a remote office (Kanagawa) and those from diverse backgrounds, and who values teamwork.
・Passion for Cars and IT: Someone driven by the desire to “bring a smartphone-like user experience to cars” or “create new mobility experiences.”
