You will be responsible for planning tasks related to thermal management in the early development of powertrains. Basically, each person is responsible for one project. Within each project, we aim for practical implementation through the following tasks. This time, we are assuming assignments to thermal management projects related to the next strategy.

- Responsibilities
- (1) Advanced Development of Thermal Management Systems:
We plan and develop thermal management systems that control components such as motors, inverters, batteries, and engines within optimal temperature ranges to accommodate various powertrains such as BEVs, HEVs, and PHEVs.
(2) Planning and Verification of New Technologies:
We plan and develop thermal management technologies for diverse usage scenarios such as high and low outside temperatures, high-load driving, and charging. We verify performance and effectiveness through simulations and experiments, leading to practical application.
(3) Development and Design Tool Construction:
We develop design support tools aimed at improving efficiency and sophistication of thermal design.
(Examples of tools used: GT-Power, MATLAB, etc.)
Depending on the project phase, you will advance development in collaboration with many related departments such as the experimental department, product planning, parts design, vehicle planning, aerodynamics, and powertrain management.
The scope of responsibility will be determined based on your experience. In the case of the main manager, you will consistently handle everything from planning to verification and promotion, leading the entire project with support from your supervisor.
■ About Development Themes:
Every year, our department proposes and plans development themes.
In addition to business needs such as market trends and shortening development periods, we plan themes from diverse perspectives, including next-generation product strategies and thermal management technologies for application to next-generation units.
■ Organizational structure and workplace environment:
The team consists of about 7~8 members, including the section manager, deputy manager, team leader, and responsible person.
In daily work, the team actively shares ideas and drives development. For difficult issues, we work on solving them by utilizing not only in-house technical experts but also joint research with universities and research institutions.
Regardless of position or years of experience, there is active exchange of opinions, and a culture of generating new ideas through technical discussions is fostered.

- ・Experience in designing, developing, and researching thermal management systems utilizing heat transfer engineering, fluid dynamics, and refrigeration cycles (including thermal design experience for exhaust systems)
