Embedded Linux Software Engineer

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and verifying BSPs (Board Support Packages) and SDKs (Software Development Kits) for in-house developed SoCs and semiconductor IP.
Mainly in embedded Linux environments, you will be involved in a wide range of software stack areas including device drivers, Linux kernels, bootloaders, and AI inference libraries.
While leveraging existing BSP and SDK assets, you will be responsible for feature development for new products, IP launch on FPGAs, porting to customer environments, and performance improvements.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Design, development, and verification
    of BSP and SDKs for in-house SoC and semiconductor IP; development of device drivers and AI SDKs for NPU-equipped SoCs; development of driver and SDK
    libraries for stereo vision; development of driver libraries
    for in-house GPU IP; port and optimize
    SDKs for in-house GPU IP; C language development
    of Linux drivers, libraries, and applications on Xilinx FPGAs; porting and tuning
    SDKs tailored to customers' hardware and software environments; maintenance and bug fixing
    of U-Boot, Linux kernel, and Buildroot in embedded Linux (ARM64) environments; improvement of SDKs based on processing performance and customer requirements;
    solving technical challenges in collaboration with in-house hardware development teams.
  • Requirements
    Experience
    developing software in C in embedded Linux environments Experience developing Linux kernel, device drivers, or BSP
  • Preferred
    Development experience
    using U-Boot, Linux kernel, and Buildroot; embedded software development
    experience in ARM64 environments; development experience using
    Xilinx FPGA; driver
    and SDK development experience on RTOS, Non-OS, Windows, etc.; knowledge of AI-related frameworks
    such as ONNX and PyTorch; development and contribution experience in the OSS community.
