This hands-on role involves working closely with leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to assess vehicle, ECU, network, and embedded system security and strengthen overall system resilience. Job Description

- Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing on automotive ECUs, in-vehicle networks, and embedded systems.
Identify, exploit, and analyze security vulnerabilities
Research automotive protocols, networks, and embedded technologies.
Perform hands-on testing on cutting-edge vehicles and next-generation automotive platforms.
Document findings in clear, detailed technical reports and present results to customers.

- Requirements
- 3+ years of penetration testing experience in automotive, embedded, or low-level systems.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, vulnerabilities, mitigations, and penetration testing methodologies.
Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, C/C++, or
Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces such as JTAG, SPI, and soldering.
Experience with Linux, QNX, and/or Android environments.
Self-motivated, fast learner with a strong hands-on and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking; Japanese N1 Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking; Japanese N1 level).

- Preferred
- Offensive security or vulnerability research background.
OSCP or equivalent penetration testing certification.
Knowledge of automotive security
Knowledge of automotive security mechanisms and in-vehicle protocols. Familiarity with ISO 21434, UN R155, and NIST/ISO risk frameworks.
Experience with Threat Analysis and Risk
Experience with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) methodologies. Experience publishing security research, CVEs, or presenting at security conferences.
