Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ・Creation and management
    of validation roadmaps, system validation, and debugging/validation as technical owners in the areas of system validation and debugging
    , leading validation engineers
    , cross-functional collaboration
    with development/integration/quality teams, project management
    , including customer reporting, risk management, and issue response, milestones, and KPIs.
    Create and manage the validation roadmap
    , Conduct system validation and debugging
    , Lead validation engineers as the technical owner in the validation domain
    ・Work cross-functionally with development, integration, and quality teams
    ・Manage projects including customer reporting, risk management, and issue resolution
    ・Monitor progress and ensure quality of milestones, KPIs, and deliverables
  • Requirements
    ・Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, etc.
    ・Business ~ Advanced level in both Japanese and English
    Radar & Ultrasonic Application Knowledge
    - Understand the operating principles, constraints, and performance characteristics of radar and ultrasonic sensors, such as detection range, angular resolution, delay, and robustness.
    - Apply knowledge of signal processing, object detection, tracking, and classification to application development
    ・Contribute to the design, validation, and optimization of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and AD (Autonomous Driving) applications using radar and ultrasonic sensors
    - Work closely with the feature development team to convert sensor outputs into system-level functions.
    - Conduct comprehensive validation to cover sensor-level KPIs and application-level performance
    - Apply technical knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as: LIN, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, SPI, daisy-chaining, point-to-point communication
    ・Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
    ・5+ years of experience in system validation within the automotive industry
    ・Business to advanced level proficiency in both Japanese and English
    ・Radar & Ultrasonic Application Knowledge:
    ・Understand the working principles, limitations, and performance characteristics of Radar and Ultrasonic sensors.
    ・Apply knowledge of signal processing, object detection, tracking, and classification for application development.
    ・Contribute to the design, validation, and optimization of ADAS/AD applications based on Radar/Ultrasonics
    ・Work closely with function development teams to translate sensor outputs into system-level features.
    ・Ensure validation covers both sensor-level KPIs (detection range, angular resolution, latency, robustness) and application-level performance.
    ・Apply technical knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols: LIN, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, SPI, Daisy Chain, and Point-to-Point communication.
  • Preferred
    ・At least
    5 years of experience in system validation in the automotive industry ・Understanding
    of V-shaped development models and agile development methods ・Experience in test automation
    using Python, CAPL, Robot Framework, etc.・Experience in using
    verification tools such as CANoe, CANape, dSPACE, ETAS, etc. ・Practical experience
    in ADAS/autonomous driving system validation frameworks ・Knowledge
    of quality and safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE ・Knowledge
    of continuous integration/test systems such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD ・Experience
    working with global OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers ・Understanding of the V-model and Agile development methodologies
    ・Experience in test automation using tools such as Python, CAPL, or Robot Framework
    ・Hands-on experience with validation tools such as CANoe, CANape, dSPACE, ETAS, etc.
    ・Practical experience with validation frameworks for ADAS or autonomous driving systems
    ・Knowledge of quality and safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE
    ・Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
