This role is responsible for driving sales growth of connector and interconnect solutions with automotive OEMs and Tier suppliers. The position focuses on developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and coordinating with global business units to expand business opportunities while ensuring stable supply and production continuity.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Drive sales activities to expand products and profitability within assigned automotive customers
    Identify and develop new sales opportunities aligned with business unit strategies
    Develop and execute sales plans for assigned accounts
    Learn and promote product solutions to expand business with customers
    Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to global business units
    Support sales channels including OEMs, distributors, affiliates, and production sites
    Manage district expense budgets
    Maintain production sales forecasts to avoid supply disruptions
    Manage PCN (process change notification) activities and ensure supply continuity
    Monitor product obsolescence to prevent line stoppages at customer sites
    Perform additional tasks assigned by management
  • Requirements
    Basic knowledge of connector products and current business items
    Understanding of internal systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or related tools
    Basic financial and profitability knowledge
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers
    Strong time management and commitment to deadlines
    Willingness to learn and improve problem-solving skills
    Basic PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    Japanese: Native level
    English: Business level (TOEIC ~750 or equivalent)
  • Preferred
    Strong problem-solving ability
    Deep understanding of the automotive industry, supply chain, and production schedules
    Previous automotive business experience with OEMs or Tier suppliers
    Experience working with Toyota or other automotive OEMs
    Self-motivated with resilience and a proactive attitude
    Curiosity and continuous learning mindset
