You will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufactured by our partner companies, including major semiconductor manufacturers, at their factories. Your work will primarily involve regular inspections of the equipment and troubleshooting issues such as equipment malfunctions. Troubleshooting issues range from simple part replacements that can be handled by one person to those requiring a team of up to three engineers.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    ■ Details:
    ・Regular inspections of equipment (performing part replacements as necessary)
    ・Responding to malfunctions in our manufacturing equipment
    ・Confirming symptoms and investigating causes (checking with senior colleagues if the cause is unknown)
    ・Arranging parts and repairs

    ■ Highlights:
    Even a few days of equipment downtime can affect the entire production line and cause significant damage to customers. For this reason, customer support engineers are important to our customers, and you will feel relied upon by them.
    However, because we enter into hourly contracts with our clients, overtime is minimal, estimated at less than 20 hours per month.

    ■After joining:
    You will receive basic technical training on our equipment for one month after joining.
    As a foreign-owned company, overseas training is also available, but English proficiency is not required. While some manuals use English, most of it is boilerplate. If you are unsure, you can use translation software.
  • Requirements
    Graduate school, university, junior college, vocational school, technical college, high school graduate or above

    ■ Requirements for application:
    ・Experience in maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment (either pre- or post-process)
