A joint venture established by a German and Japanese automotive parts manufacturer, providing climate control systems for automobiles. This joint venture provides heating and air conditioning solutions for special-purpose vehicles such as buses, trucks, construction vehicles, and campers to improve vehicle comfort and safety in the Japanese market. Mainly strong in auxiliary heaters and climate management systems, providing
sales and after-sales service throughout Japan. As a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry, we supply air conditioning and heating products to OEMs and aftermarket customers. To support expanding business growth, a stable and efficient supply chain foundation spanning procurement, production, logistics, and inventory is essential. The supply chain management department plays a core role in supporting business growth by optimizing the supply chain end-to-end supply chain centered on S&OP, thereby enhancing cost competitiveness, supply stability, and inventory efficiency.
Job Description

- Responsibilities
- ◆ SCM Coordination: Through the construction and operation of S&OP processes, visualize and prioritize issues in procurement, purchasing, production management, logistics, and inventory management, and implement solutions. End-to-end supply chain optimization.
◆ Procurement & Purchasing: Strengthen relationships with domestic and international suppliers by optimizing transaction terms and contract terms. Build resilient supply systems through supplier decentralization and double tracks. Establish and operate compliance systems for contracts, ownership, and storage management in mold trading.
◆ Production Management: Lead standardization and efficiency of assembly processes by ensuring consistency in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) logic.
◆ Logistics: Reduce domestic and international transportation costs (such as optimizing transportation modes and improving loading efficiency). Review of logistics networks aimed at shortening delivery lead times. Strengthening system integration and SLA management with 3PL partners.
◆ Inventory Management: Executing plans to reduce inventory amounts and improving inventory turnover days. Maintenance and accuracy improvement of master data (item information, lead time, safety stock, etc.
). ◆ Management: Organizing and redesigning functions and role division within the SCM department. Developing subordinate personnel. Eliminating individualization through business standardization. Operational improvement of SAP Business One (master management, alignment of business processes and systems).
◆ Reporting: Regular reporting to GM and overseas headquarters (Germany, APAC) (SCM KPIs, inventory status, procurement risks, etc.). Preparation and reporting of SCM performance review materials. Presentation of data and analysis that support decision-making.

- Requirements
- ・Over 10 years of SCM practical experience. Of which is management experience with subordinates (approximately 5 years or more).
・Practical experience
spanning multiple areas such as procurement/purchasing, production management, logistics, and inventory management ・English proficiency at TOEIC800 level or higher (as documents and negotiations with headquarters and offices in Europe and Asia occur in English)
・Experience working with
ERP systems (such as SAP) ・Skills
in preparing and analyzing documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ・Ability to prioritize and flexibly and precisely carry out tasks even in busy situations.
・Strong commitment to results, drive as
a self-starter, and ability to negotiate and coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders
