As an RFQ Manager in the global RFQ team, you will lead the technical response process to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for automotive connectivity solutions. This role focuses on securing new business globally by aligning technology offerings with commercial objectives, especially for the Asian and Japanese markets.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Collaborate with sales and account teams to pursue new global business opportunities in automotive connectivity (e.g., V2X, antennas, gateways).
    Represent the company's connectivity solutions to OEMs, providing technical guidance and influencing product direction.
    Coordinate technical meetings between internal experts and customer engineering teams to enable early engagement and dialogue.
    Lead the creation of technical proposals in response to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs based on customer requirements.
    Conduct feasibility studies and support specification development during the RFx phase.
    Manage requirements engineering and oversee technical alignment across internal teams and external suppliers.
    Report progress to internal stakeholders and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
    Provide input to Product Management based on market feedback and customer requirements.
    Drive the RFx process from a technical standpoint for programs in Asia and Japan.
  • Requirements
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; MBA is a plus.
    At least 5 years of
    Familiarity with software and hardware development processes and tools (e.g., DOORS, Excel, JIRA
    Broad technical understanding of connectivity technologies such as cellular networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, infotainment systems, and vehicle communications.
    Fluent English and business-level Japanese.
    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
