We are a mobility-related startup aiming for mass production and social implementation of ultra-compact EVs "one-seater, moped mini-car category. We are promoting a business that redefines "mobility options" by taking on the challenge of minimizing mobility issues and environmental impact in rural areas and building an integrated system from design and manufacturing to sales, after-sales support, and CRM, with mass production scheduled to begin in October 2025.

Leading the capital strategy to optimally allocate equity/debt/subsidy based on the cash structure unique to the manufacturing industry (cost, inventory, lead time, time lag between purchase/sales). We are responsible for "designing numbers that create value" for management, from design and operation of medium- and long-term PL and CF models, IR/financial institution support, and cost visualization and cost optimization.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    - Understand/reconstruct financial model, cash flow and business plan, organize issues and propose improvements
    - Visualization of funding needs for mass production phase and CF risk analysis
    - Planning and execution of funding strategy for equity/debt/subsidy, etc., design of conditions, negotiations and documentation
    - Response to investors and financial institutions, IR material/data room maintenance
    - Establishment and operation of monthly CF monitoring system (reflecting manufacturing/sales/labor/overhead costs)
    - Visualization of cost structure and promotion of cross-functional cost optimization (in collaboration with SCM/production/development)
    - Development of policy for use of non-equity funds (grants and institutional funds)
    - Launch of finance and accounting/management accounting/IR functions, internal control and audit Support and SO design
  • Requirements
    - Finance or business management practice in manufacturing industry (hardware/automotive/electronics, etc.) (3+ years)
    - Working knowledge of cost/inventory/lead time/purchase/sales timing differences
    - Experience in both equity and debt financing (strategy - terms design - negotiation - execution)
    - Experience building and operating mid/long-term PL/CF models (practices that support management decisions)

    - Able to make decisions based on numbers even under uncertainty
    - A "translator" type who can break down complex financials and connect management and the field
    - Flexibility to design implementable solutions even under constraints
    - Empathy for the social significance of the business and the ability to drive its realization through finance
  • Preferred
    - Understanding of small EV sales and delivery scheme/CF structure
    - Experience in strategic use of subsidies and institutional funds
    - Experience in designing and disseminating IR (story-based IR) that incorporates the worldview of the business
