We are currently focusing on four areas [electrification, connected systems, advanced safety/automated driving, and non-vehicle businesses (FA/agriculture)].

This is a challenge to lead the automotive industry by planning ECU configurations and network connections for future automobiles, considering commonality among OEMs, and proposing them to the customer OEMs.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Planning of future in-vehicle system architecture envisioned by DN
    - Benchmarking of ECU system architecture trends of OEMs in Japan and overseas
    - Understanding of trends in network and software technologies, including automotive and non-vehicle technologies
    - Planning of system architecture for future in-vehicle ECUs
    - Prototyping based on the architecture
    Development of elemental technologies
    ・ Examination of future automotive UX and planning of elemental technology development roadmap for its realization
    ・ Advance development and feasibility verification of hardware and software elemental technologies (including collaboration with DN internal departments)
    ■ OEM proposals and prototype orders based on assumed architecture
    ・ Establishment of communication lines with OEM advance development teams and interviews on next-generation trends Establishment of communication line with OEM's advanced development team and hearing of next generation trend
    ・ Standardization proposal through OEM organizations and JASPAR
    ・ Advanced development proposal linking OEM needs and DN seeds (including collaboration with DN internal divisions)
  • Requirements
    Experience in system architecture design or network architecture design for electronic products, network systems, etc.
    - Experience in software architecture design for electronic products

  • Preferred
    Experience in software development of electronic products (especially BSW or OS layer)
    - Experience in hardware development of electronic products
    - Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols
    - English proficiency (TOEIC 600 or above equivalent)
