The firm operates across three key verticals including RV Mobility, Alpine Mobility and EV Mobility and provides business consulting and brand representation services, helping global partners establish a strong market presence in Japan. With a deep understanding of evolving consumer needs and a commitment to innovation, this firm plays a key role in supporting the growth of next-generation mobility industries.

As Logistics & Import Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, including stock planning, predominately EU based international supplier orders, logistics coordination with forwarder, domestic inventory coordination, and 3PL communication. This is a fully remote role ideal for a junior to mid-level logistics professional with strong independence and self-motivation. Since the founding of the company 5-years ago, the company has been steadily growing in the above mentioned 3-pillars in collaboration with European suppliers/partners & Japan based manufacturers. Many of the current activates are still based in Excel and manual operations. Gaining understanding and developing the tools with an eventual target of online operations is one of the key next steps. Working in the small internal team & closely cooperating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and the warehouse team to ensure the efficient flow of goods from overseas manufacturers to end customers in Japan will be the key tasks.

    Import Operations

    · Coordinate international shipments including documentation, booking, customs-related processes, and vendor communication.

    · Work closely with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and delivery.

    Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

    · Monitor and manage inventory, calculate and adjust appropriate stock.

    · Support inbound/outbound activity, product receiving, and accuracy of stock records in coordination with the 3PL warehouse in Narashino, Chiba.

    · Implement small-scale improvements to overall logistic process that will match the growing business.

    Domestic Fulfillment

    · Oversee order processing and coordinate last-mile delivery arrangements with the 3PL

    · Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays in coordination with relevant partners.

    · Support the preparation and sending out of invoices within Japan.

    Internal Collaboration

    · Report to and collaborate with the company president to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

    · Maintain operational documentation, shipping records, and inventory logs.

    · Support external accounting firm with documents and information necessary for accounting works.
  • 応募資格(必須)
    · While the position is fully remote, you will need to be available for meetings and visiting the 3PL in Chiba so only professionals located in the Kanto area or able to relocate will be considered.
    · Over 5 years of experience in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management.
    · Experience with freight procedures is required.
    · Working knowledge of Japanese import/export regulations and documentation.
    · Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Excel-based inventory control.
    · Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent preferred).
    · Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote role.
    · Experience working with 3PLs is a plus.
