Application Engineer for Occupant Safety

In this role you will work to support clients and engineering teams alike in developing critical automotive safety systems that will directly contribute to saving lives. By understanding the needs of automotive clients and the limits of manufacturing, you will engineer solutions to meet their requirements while ensuring the integrity and reliability of safety systems. Every day will pose a new and exciting challenge to your communication and engineering ability and everyday your work will make a difference in the general safety of all who drive.

  • 職種要約
    -Work with OEMs in Japan to understand and define requirements for automotive safety systems.
    -Help define the requirements to clear technical specifications to aid in the development and design processes.
    -Integrate and adapt products in development to align with dynamic and critical requirements.
    -Review CAD data and drawings to ensure integrity and compliance.
    -Coordinate and oversee testing in collaboration with R&D departments, reporting the results in detail.
    -Assist in prototyping, testing, and production launch for products.
    -Maintain client relationships, resolving critical issues in a dynamic industry.
    -Support departments such as engineering and business development through presentations and key insights into the progress of various projects.
  • 応募資格（必須）
    -Native level Japanese ability and intermediate or above English ability.
    -2 years or more engineering experience related to seatbelts, steering, airbags, chassis, or other safety systems, preferably in an application engineering role.
    -Strong ability and experience communicating across engineering departments.
    -Strong understanding of CAD tools such as CATIA or NX for design reviews.
    -Understanding of JOEM development and testing processes.
  • 応募資格（優遇）
    -Experience in international environments and communicating in English.
    -Experience with seatbelt systems especially.
    -Experience working at or with a JOEM.
