This position is for a leading-edge ADAS product.
This is a sales position for TOYOTA and you will be responsible for existing sales.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Interact with the company and its customers globally, including group companies, internal and external balances, customers, and requirements-focused communities
    Collect accounts receivable, R&D expenses, each trade receivable, etc.
    Prepare documentation for each customer
    Report directly to Head of Sales
    Acquire new business (including carryover systems)
    Business acquisition, including strategy building Correspondence with
    - Coordinate quotations with international sales team and customers as needed.
    - Implement and manage internal gates, PCIS. Conduct reviews with project managers and other team members.
    - Prepare cost breakdown of quotations in strong coordination with management - Protect interests to customers and raise obstacles from customers for internal discussion prior to quotation
    - Ensure timely delivery of reviewed and approved quotations and communication to customers

    Business operations and projects under development

    Full responsibility for all commercial issues in project operations and development, including change management, piece pricing, RnD and tooling costs, sample costs, and other documentation
    Baseline assumptions for initial commercial estimates and coordinate with global team members as needed
    In-house Attend project meetings/monitor progress and act in an advisory role to anticipate commercially relevant hurdles and drive timely change management
    Establish and maintain standardized cost structures for projects with the same customer, consistent with other locations within the same BU that do similar business with the customer
    Maintain clear and transparent structure of all goods communicated to customers
    Lead/guide project teams and project managers commercially and prepare all documents in a commercially thoughtful manner
    Communicate and negotiate with customers
  • Requirements
    Work in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan
    Travel domestically and internationally as needed
    Experience working with J-OEMs (10 years)
    Experience working in the automotive industry (10 years)
    Communication skills in English and Japanese
    International team player and experience (N/A, EU, CHINA, ASEAN)
    Advanced MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
    Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers

    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience working for Toyota or Toyota Group of Companies
    Good understanding of customer strategy, roadmap, procurement and decision-making processes
    Sales, business development, project management, etc. at overseas operating companies Experience (10 years)
