The Solution Architect must define and oversee the technical blueprint for advanced automotive software and systems. This role bridges business requirements with technical implementation, guiding teams in the design, development, integration, and validation of both software and hardware components. The position will serve as a key technical interface for stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet customer specifications, technical feasibility, and industry standards.

- Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture, ensuring alignment with customer and stakeholder requirements.
Define and execute validation plans to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
Integrate system components into vehicle platforms and ensure seamless functionality.
Translate customer needs into system-level requirements and manage them throughout the project lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and testing.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams to drive execution.
Contribute to the standardization of central compute systems and foster innovation.
Maintain comprehensive documentation on system design, requirements, and validation activities.

- Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software and system architecture, embedded systems, vehicle EE architecture, and communication protocols.
Experience in automotive systems engineering, including SysML 1.5, requirements management, system design, validation, and integration.
Background in infotainment, ADAS, or digital cockpit systems.
Expertise with requirements management tools such as DOORS Next Generation, DOORS, SystemWeaver, and IBM Jazz toolchain.
Familiarity with configuration management and baselining in IBM ELM/DNG.
Knowledge of Automotive SPICE®, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity process models.
Strong understanding of central compute unit (CCU) technologies.
Advanced knowledge in Machine Learning SW/HW architectures and mobile wireless technologies (DSPs, ARM, WiFi, 5G/4G/LTE, Bluetooth, etc.) and/or infotainment technologies (navigation, mirroring/projection, rear-seat entertainment, etc.).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to explain complex concepts across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English and Japanese.
