As a software developer for the parking systems team, I will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for ultrasonic sensor (USS) and near-field camera (NRC)-based parking systems for Japanese OEM customers.
We are broadly involved in everything from developing parking assistance functions to supporting mass production projects, promoting the design, implementation, and verification of software features in collaboration with customers.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Development and debugging
    of parking assistance software functions (park pilot, false acceleration avoidance system, emergency braking system, automatic parking assistance system, etc.) System requirements analysis and software specification creation
    in collaboration with customersSoftware architecture design and implementation
    using C/C++ Log analysis and software debugging of mass production projects
    Development
    of local software algorithms (including AI) for JapanConducting
    software testing, including unit validation and integration testingParticipating in technical discussions with customers and supporting acquisition activitiesSupporting
    local functions and demonstration pre-development activitiesSupporting
    vehicle setup and testing activities
  • Requirements
    Bachelor's or Master's degree
    in computer science, software engineering or related field Experience in automotive software development At least 3 years
    of experience in automotive software development Deep understanding
    of ADAS technologies including sensor fusion, perception, planning and control Advanced programming skills
    in C/C++ Experience with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
    Experience with
    software development tools and version control systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Ability to communicate in Japanese and English (including customer service)
  • Preferred
    Experience
    in developing parking assistance systems or ADAS featuresKnowledge
    of Python, MATLAB, and Julia, knowledge of
