As the head of the Governance Section organization, we expect you to take a wide range of actions from the development of IT regulations and processes to the review and establishment of business processes with a focus on strengthening governance.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities
    Inventory and evaluation of IT regulations in 5 regions (US, Europe, China, Asia, and Japan)
    - Establishment of company-wide IT regulations and comprehensive management (establishment of IT policy house)
    - Review, improvement, and implementation of business processes to strengthen governance
    - Documentation of various audit processes, development of related documents, and issuance of guidelines
    - Risk Management and linkage with the company-wide risk management system
    ・Define and clarify the sense of purpose of IT and examine methods to achieve it. Incorporate them into the IT vision and mission, and develop a strategic action plan.
    ・Design and implement an IT governance framework. Use COBIT, TOGAF, and other best practice frameworks to promote the framework and update it as needed.
    ・Design and implement a code of ethics for the IT organization. Co-create a code of ethics with HR based on morals and values. Establish rules and standards, and define the ideal attitude and code of conduct for IT staff.
    Help build governance-related education and training to foster the culture of the IT organization, defining how to interact and behave both inside and outside the IT organization.
    Foster an ethical/cultural framework in conjunction with the governance framework.
    Establish effective risk management processes. Support company-wide risk management to ensure business continuity and crisis management as it relates to IT; monitor and guide activities across all global IT functions, regions, and sites.
  • Requirements
    -15+ years of experience in IT related work
    -Experience working in IT governance
    -High level communication skills and English language skills equivalent to 900 TOEIC score.
  • Preferred

    Experience in IT Governance with knowledge of IT Risk Management
    - Strong drive and attitude to tackle complex issues
    - Ability to write reports using PowerPoint
